Hypothyroidism is due to the primary disease of the thyroid or secondary to hypothalamicpituitary disease [1]. Primary hypothyroidism is the most common endocrine disorder throughout the world. Traditionally we have been using levothyroxine in the treatment of hypothyroidism. However, there have been reports of persisting symptoms of hypothyroidism in 5-10% of levothyroxine treated hypothyroid patients
